Links are what made the internet what it is today. They are one of the most important parts of a web page. A link can be a word, a picture, or a defined "hot" spot that can take you to another reference page in your web site, or elsewhere in the internet. The thumbnail on the right is linked to a larger photo...

To link a word or a phrase, highlight it and choose Insert > Hyperlink. In the Hyper Link Requester you can navigate to a page in your site folder and choose it.
If the link is to a page "elsewhere" on the internet you need the URL Address for the reference page. http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_imglink paste that into the Hyperlink requester.

The mailto Link... If the user (client) has a default e-mail program Clicking on the link will start-up their e-mail program and insert YOUR e-mail address. Contact Us. Just highlight the text and choose Insert > Common > Email Link.
But that exposes your e-mail address to "spam robots" that search web pages looking for bare e-mail address that are harvested and sold to spammers... To protect your self you need to hide your e-mail address with encoding or encryption.

The Book Mark Anchor
You can use the book mark anchor to send your user (Client) to another location on the page they are at. For example. This link Chapter 200 takes you further down this page...
You must first make a "named" anchor... Place the cursor where to want to send the person reading your web page and select INSERT > Common > Named Anchor... You can only use lowercase to name the anchor or bookmark. Then go to the spot where you want to have the user jump from to your book mark or anchor. Now highlight the word, say Chapter 200 and choose the #nameofthebookmark when you select the Hyperlink drop down menu... A good place to use the bookmark is when you have a long web page and you have an Index at the top of your web page... (above the fold)...
