98th Birthday Collection

These canvases were first published on October 8th, 2020 to celebrate Mom's 98th Birthday. Josie Stasiuk passed on December 5, 2021, 99 years old. I am thankful that my brother, Dave and his wife Deb, looked after her in Winnipeg, as dementia over took her life. I miss mom and her art and especially the art pieces she put on exhibition and sold! Those paintings I never got to see because I lived elsewhere!

I photographed mom's paintings staring in the 90's on film at her studio, those hanging on her walls when I visited. I took digital photos starting in 2007 and I also photographed paintings that Deb and David had in their home in 2013.
