Full Buck Moon, July 4th, 10:06 PM a Partial Penumbral eclipse covering 19% of the moon, very difficult to see!
Waxing Gibbous 9.8 days old. Notice how the 80.5% illumination with elogated shadows help reveal lunar detail! Focal lemgth 600MM.

This took a bit of processing (Toning - Dodging and Basic toning tools ) in Lightroom to show the lunar surface through the clouds and the Reddish moon dog surrounding Moon. Sony IV, 196MM cropped. 1/60th of a second, f/5.6 ISO 640.... Enjoy!

3 minutes before Maximum partial in Vancouver,WA the middle Sunspot #AR 3628 and on the left AR 2633 Maximum here sun was 33% covered. 1/2000th of a second f/6.3 100 ISO 324 mm photo taken at 11:23 am PDT just 3 minutes before for max coverage.
